Hello world!
This is going to be an outlet for reviews, comments, opinions on books, TV shows, films, music and general stuff - possibly with a bit of real life thrown in now and again for good measure.
Expect a lot of Doctor Who-related bits, and Eighteenth-Century novel reviews. I'm currently reading Smollett's Ferdinand Count Fathom so that will be up soon, plus I've just been watching the DVD release of Day of The Daleks, series one of The Inbetweeners and the movie Paul.
So, more to follow...
I would be interested to read your thoughts about The Inbetweeners. I really tried, more than once to watch it, and I just don't get it.
ReplyDeleteI like my humour toilety and silly, but I just didn't find it funny. Is it one of these boys' things?
It's still pretty new to me too. We have all 3 series on DVD, plus the film and I've seen about half of it all so far.
DeleteI generally think it's brilliant. It's very rude, very uncomfortable, very true and very funny. Maybe it's a boy thing, all that teenage angst about w*nking and getting drunk - but then my wife adores it so maybe not?
I doubt I'm being much help to you here, sorry!
